Antique Moving

We know that antiques must be handled with special and specialized care. Your antique is stuffed with paper, wrapped in blankets and shrink-wrapped for protection before being placed in our moving truck, where each item is strapped and protected to ensure it arrives just as we found it. Some parts may also require packing or crating, which we can also offer.

Depending on the item, foam wrap can keep glass and wood items safe, Bubble wrap and moving blankets are also a great option for extra security,A wooden box can function as a protective shell.

Once the antiques are well packed and protected, it's time to load them onto the truck. The most important part is making sure your prized antique is properly accommodated in the truck. Antiques will often be added last after all other boxes and items have been placed on the truck. They are less likely to hit other items. They will also be the first items to be removed from the truck.

At DS Movers, we'll make sure your item is settled in the safest way possible. Once we arrive at your new location, we do a full inventory and make sure everything is intact and in the same condition. We take care to properly pack your items. We know how much it means to you.
